Man, so many things come to mind. Jason Sutherland jawing at Raef and Scot Pollard, definitely the first time I ever felt my blood BOIL during a sporting event.

Kirk and Aaron hitting back-to-back threes to just ice Mizzou during the last matchup at the Hearnes Center... I remember me and some friends drove around flying a huge KU flag, kind of ignoring the fact that there weren't really any Mizzou fans in the area.

We didn't have season tix growing up, but we'd always make a run at the MU game and make a whole day out of it. This included a pre-game visit to Don's Steakhouse, the restaurant my dad ate during Sundays in college when they didn't have meal service. It took me a long time to figure out that the food at Don's was terrible. But I loved going and really just soaking up the whole atmosphere pre-game.

In 2008 I was a senior at KU, and that year's AFH game was a total bloodbath. It felt like every home game that year was a snoozer, bc KU just loaded up on people, but burying Mizzou always feels euphoric.

I'm sure i'll pop back with more.

So glad this game is back. Being a senior in the student section for the 2012 game is damn near impossible to top. Complete anarchy after the TRob block - it was so loud that it felt like my brain was pulsating. I think I also cramped up and "rehydrated" at the Wheel afterward.

Sherron Collins had a bit of a coming out party against the Tigers at AFH in 2007. That team had Sherron, Shady, and D-Block coming off the bench - decent! That was probably around I realized that team had the goods. Still bitter about getting sent to San Jose to play UCLA in the Elite 8 that year.

Also, I have always appreciated the ref keeping this dunk off the official record: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oiNzoglbVs
